It'd been a while since I hosted an OLI party at my place. I had picked a date, but forgotten to tell everyone. On my way out for the 4^th, I was on the phone with Joe, and asked him to send around an email. The next day I find that my little OLI BBQ had become... a Long-Awaited Summertime Spectacular! So, I had a couple of days to find something spectacular to do. In true copycat form, I went for Mentos/Diet Coke entertainment!

John brought a 3 GALLON container which he filled with diet cola and attempted to set off with something like 18 mentos... we opted to set this one off down by the copper firepit in case it worked...
