About This Site

Why this site is here
I have been a fan of Ted Knight for quite some time, (although being twenty years old, this is relative). I've sought out information on him on the web a few times before to little avail. Although more recently I've had much better luck with this, I was a bit suprised to not find a site specfiically for him, only references from his television and movie works. Having begun my own web site this past year, I decided I could change this. When Knight was growing up, he lived next to my grandmother, and as things happened, a number of my family members had the priviledge of knowing him. I missed being able to meet him personally, but I still have access to information about him, so I decided to publish these pages.

What the purpose of this site is
The main goal is to create a central source of information on the web about one of the funniest actors I've seen. Currently, everything on the net is scattered about. I couldn't believe there wasn't a site dedicated to him to begin with, so I decided to start one.

Who's maintaining it
My name is Bill Jerome, and I'm a computer science major at Carnegie Mellon University. I've done all the graphic editing, html writing, and audio digitzation found in these pages. This site is a small portion of my home page, served from my CMU web space. Helping me obtain material for this site is my uncle, Jim Murawski, who knew Knight.

For those who link to this page, feel free to use one of the above graphics for a button. This isn't to say you have to use one, but I've made it available to those who have an interest in it.
