The Bicentennial Marches Through Terryville Center

It was a day many will remember as Plymouth people joined hands and talents to celebrate the Bicentennial. Television personality Ted Knight, former Terryville resident, along with colorful floats, scores of people and vehicles of many descriptions, aided in making the entire parade a memorable experience. Sunshine, a slight springlike breeze and temperatures in the comfortable 70's made it possible for thousands to view the marching Saturday afternoon. Months of planning were rewarded with an event the town will long remember.
