Hi, Guys is the name of the one-and-only musical album that Ted Knight released. Under the Ranwood Records label, Hi, Guys was issued in 1975 on records, cassettes and 8-track cartridges.

I have recently acquired an 8-track copy of Hi, Guys!. (Click here to see a picture of it). I could be interested in getting a listen to this 8-track in the event it has reasonable sound quality. Contact me if you think you can help!

There is a location that will sell you a copy of Hi, Guys! The one I was shown was wrapped in the original packaging! They only have one or two for sale, so if you want one, don't hesitate! Also, they will make you a tape off of their archival copy should the other(s) sell before you get to them. Contact Record-Rama for info!

To get an idea of the seriousness behind this project, try reading the text of the back of the record! I don't have a large amount of information about the album at this time, other than what is available by reading the back of the record itself, and giving it a listen. I personally have heard a number of the songs featured on this album on the radio, including The Cover of the (Rolling Stone) and Mr. Custer.

Due its lack of availability, I'm making parts of this album available to Ted Knight fans on the web. I don't have any 'moral dilemnas' with this as this record is no longer made or readily available for purchase, so neither Ted, nor his family, nor his record company loses out. Click the album cover for a menu of audio clips.

There are a couple of things to note about these recordings. I plan to re-record a number of them ASAP to eliminate popping. Also, all tracks are recorded at 22kHz, 16bit. MP3 files are encoded at 56kbits/sec. All tracks recorded as mono except Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, as great use of stereo sound is used, especially towards the end, in this song.
